The death mask of Napoleon, found in 2004 at Christies, had been contested since it was famous in France in 1954. Most of the French specialists have estimated that it has nothing in common with the facial appearance of the Bonaparte.

Well, a comparison with the pictures of Alexande Walewski - the natural son of Napoleon and Marie Waleska - proves the opposite.
However, it's difficult to determine if the mask is the one of Waleski or someone else?

Every method to lead to a result is wellcome (morphing, reconstitution in 3 D, etc.).

If it is the mask of Waleski, we should be surprised of the absence of resemblance with the official mask of Napoleon, signed by Dr. Antomarchi.

If it isn't his mask we should be asking for knowing from who's skin the mask has been made. Noticed that the resemblance is evident. And the question stays unanswered on the fact of the mask is the true death mask of Napoleon ?

Thanks in advance for your cooperation
